This staffing is a collaboration between us at Manpower and DFDS. You will be employed by Manpower but work on-site at DFDS.

About the job

As a terminal worker at DFDS, you will work with common tasks associated with terminal operations. The work can be varied as you may work in several different departments.

Tasks that may occur:

• Receiving and dispatching goods

• Forklift driving, primarily counterbalance

• Loading and unloading goods, a lot of work takes place outdoors

• Other tasks related to terminal operations

Since much of the cargo is large and heavy, we prefer that you have good experience with counterbalance forklifts so that you feel secure in your driving. Driving tests may occur. Some work is manual, which requires good physical fitness and comfort in working with your body.

Working hours are scheduled in the evenings, Monday - Thursday: 14:55 - 23:40 and Friday: 13:25 - 22:10

We are looking for someone who has

• Forklift license A1-A4 and B1-B4

• Good understanding of Swedish in speech and writing

• Good understanding of English in speech and writing

• Forklift experience in work after completed forklift training, preferably counterbalance (B1)

It is also advantageous if you have

• worked with similar tasks before

• have a driver's license and access to a car

• have other warehouse and industrial experience
